Council temporary house and spouse ilr

Post by dipmm2000d » Tue Jun 03, 2014 10:23 am

Hi

I am seeking some guidance regarding my dpouse's ILR application. I became homeless last February and council has given me temporary accommodation(license) to stay until I can get a permanant house through bidding.

My wife is on spuse visa under old rules and have two Britidh children. I claim HB, CTC, WTC, CB and council tax credit.

I have been given more than allowable allowances for my housing benefit as I can't efford it. So my question is , can I apply for wife's Ilr in this circumstances?
Are they going to refuse as I live in temporary council accommodation? Many thanks for your time.

Yes I am self employed and my wife works 16 he per week . Our joint income is 700 pm. One more thing I previously showed HB ,CTC , WTC and council tax credit along with our joint income and they approved the application. The only difference now is I live council provided temporary accommodation and I used live privately rented house during my partners flrm application . Thanks

Q. 8.6 are you or your partner receiving public funds? Then list of benefits mentioned there which include homelessness assistance.

I assume I don't have to put anything there but I want to make sure that u am right ? Thanks Amber.
