Invitation Letters to the 4th of July Ceremony

Post by Yana31 » Tue Jun 03, 2014 10:36 am

Hi, has anyone else received invitation letters in the last few days? I still haven’t received mine, and I have sent the money almost a month ago. I have been told by email that I will be included in the 4th of July ceremony, but until I actually have the letter in hand, it’s hard to believe.

I am getting frustrated now a tad bit, as I am not sure. :(

Yeah, got mine this morning for 10:50.
Since they're sending out invitations to the second ceremony at the moment, I'd say you have nothing to worry about :)

How many ceremonies are in a day? And is it alphabetically arranged I presume, and if you don’t mind me asking what letter does your surname start with? That way I know how long ive to wait or what letter they are at, at least. 8)

My surname starts with K.
They actually sent me a letter on Friday saying they were going to skip me for this ceremony because of a misunderstanding. I emailed them and got the invitation this morning :)
As far as I know there are 3 ceremonies.

My mum is waiting for her's as well :( she sent out the GNIB card and stuff like two weeks ago...
she's going on her holidays soon and she's worried about the ceremony and the flights that she has booked.

Does anyone know how many round of ceremony are there on the 4th of July?

Thank you I was not aware that it takes 4 weeks for the payment to be processed in order to get an invitation letter.
Thank you once again for clearing that for me, at least now I know not to worry anymore, as I was in a panic. :D
