Hello...I am a dependent wife. My husband is on student visa. I am working as Senior Health Care Assistant in a care home. Our current visa will expire in April 2015. My employer is 'A' Rated sponsor and wants to sponsor me as their permanent employee. They want to sponsor me on Tier 2 category...Now, my concenrs are as follows -

1. Senior Carer job is not in shortage occupation list.
2. I don't have any UK based qualifications.
3. I hold an Indian Bachelor degree in Science followed by 3 years full time Indian degree in Medical Laboratory Technologies.
4. How my employer can sponsor me..?
5. Is there any alternate to my job as carer..?
6. My employer already done the residential labour market test.
7. Is there any possibilities if I undertake a study in UK, based on which my employer can sponsor me..?
8. If yes, I will be obliged if you provide me details.
9. Is there any other formalities or details I required to keep in mind..?
10. I will be obliged if anyone can guide me or help me in my concerns...please help us..

you do not need a uk qualification or relevant experience to be sponsored.
since u are student dependent, u can change visa within uk.
you will need restricted COS which is issued by employer.
RLMT need to be done correctly
u will need a statement of 900 for yourself, and 1500 if applying with partner.
you will need English language test certificate
employer need to assign u a job which is of NVQ level 6 at least, with correct soc code and responsibilities.
