Will let you know the details when i get them, missed the delivery on Saturday as i was out. My partner just picked them up from the royal mail offices. He told me they are requesting more documents for the last six months which should be bills, council tax on official paper. We only receive bills online so i wonder if the prints of other bills can work. Sky is in my name so i asked them to send me bills from the last six months. I dont know how much time i have to send them back but will. let you know.

Did they not state a submission date? In most cases they give you a cut off date or 10 days from receipt but this can differ, perhaps ring them and verify - all the best!

Good afternoon Everyone,I hope you are enjoying the lovely weather?,I have some sad news. I received a letter from my solicitor informing me I have been refused. The reason is because me and my partner don't have enough evidence we have been together for 2 years Akin to marriage. I wanted to find out if anyone on this forum has had such experience. The letter looked like a standard letter. I know these people who work at the HO want to frustrate applicants but with God all things are possible. No mountain is too high for my God. And I will fight this, and I will be on Top by God's Grace.

Thank you es2013 . Request of more documents is a good thing , I really hope all work out for you. I will personally call my providers to request bills to be sent out in the post. It doesn't mean that the online bills print outs will not be ok, but with ukba I will always go the extra mile. But that's just me.

@kwombe sorry about this news , have they given you a right of appeal. Don't give up.

So sorry about the refusal. Is it not ridiculous for HO to say you don't have enough evidence that you have been together for two years when they can ask for a specific evidence. There are many partner living together and they don't have all bills having both names on them.

As you have said fight back The Lord is your strength. Victory is sure for you

one thing i have notice here is partners who have not lived or cant prove 2 years cohabitation are been refuse. and the important question i have for this great forum is this.
1,is it that partner who have not lived together for 2 years cannot claim article 8 right
to family life, meaning they have to be together for 2 years before family life can be establish?

2, what about partner with kids but have not lived together for 2 years?

3, This element of Article 8 protects your right to respect for your close family relationships and matters relating to those relationships, for example how parents choose to discipline their children. The question of whether a relationship will fall within the ambit of ‘family life’ for the purposes of Article 8 will depend on the nature of the relationship and the existence of close personal ties. In addition to the relationship between a mother and father and between children and their parents, ‘family life’ will include unmarried couples and the relationship between an illegitimate child and either parent as well as other family relationships, for example relationships between siblings and between adopted children and adoptive parents.

please great people with great mind please am really confuse about it is compulsory to prove 2 years cohabitation. please i don't know and i will like to know. thanks

Here is the documents they asked for;

1.Documents with my name covering the last 6 months, Documents with my partners name covering the last 6 months

2.Documentary evidence covering last 6 months to confirm my dependant child resides at my address. This should be on official headed paper and be from your childs school,nursery, health visitor, GP or local Authority

3.NHS personal child health record for my son.

I have got letters from hospital but they do not state hospital letters.
