Post by aracati » Tue Jun 10, 2014 11:50 am

Hi Guys,

i have a question, i applied already for the EU5 Application Retention of rights (ROR), i do have stamp4EUfam valid until 2015.

3 questions:

1. what kinda stamp i will get if approved ?

2. i will get a citizen resident stamp?

3. i have 2 and half years with stamp4EUfam, with the new stamp after EU5 i will legible to apply to: citizen resident in Ireland or irish passport? after 5 years resident in ireland?

If approved you will keep your current stamp4 eufam and the same GNIB card. If refused your card would be revoked.

2. i will get a citizen resident stamp?

What is that ? your question 2 is not clear.

3. i have 2 and half years with stamp4EUfam, with the new stamp after EU5 i will legible to apply to: citizen resident in Ireland or irish passport? after 5 years resident in ireland?

Yes after 5 years of legal residence u would be eligible for the permanent residence card and also for Irish passport.
