Is driving licence penalty points ie endorsements are part of your criminal record ie recorded on PNC under new changes on 10 March 2014 ?

I got FPN (Fixed penalty notice) of £300 & 6 penalty points for IN10 on 01 April 2014 would that effect my ILR on 21 July 2014 ?

A quick response would be highly appreciate if any one got ILR in the above circumstances.

Amber, r u sure as 6 points (driving without insurance) are part of your criminal record and it says its a mandatory refusal with in 24 months for ILR applicant ?

An FPN is not a conviction or 'out of court disposal'.

but what about endorsements ie points on your licence ? for 6 points it says on counter part conviction code....... is that not conviction than ?

Amber have you seen any one who have issued 6 penalty points due to FPN and successfully granted ILR ? help me to understand it please
