EEA FP: Observations

Post by chaoclive » Wed Jun 11, 2014 10:06 am

Hi all

My partner got his EEA family permit today (after 8 days). At the bottom of the EEA FP (which has 'to acc' & my name) there is a section called 'Observ.' Here it only says '0'. Does anyone know if this is normal? What does '0' mean? Is he still able to work using this EEA FP?

Thanks so much
CC

I don't think the observation is relevant at all (mainly because it doesn't inform anything really). Just use it as expected.

Mine also has a number "0" listed, but its inbetween Number of Dependants and Dependant Name. Maybe they put the "0" on your FP up a little too high and it's next to Obsrv.?

That's most likely what happened. Just a small printing error.

That is good news well done!

This also means you don't have to be exercising treaty rights on his arrival as you wil be accompanying him.

No, no - I'm busy enough looking after the other half hehe.

So, JBM: are you in NI now? Did you apply for your RC yet?

Yip; that's right. I will be entering a bit before him, but I'll go to meet him in Amsterdam and then fly into Belfast with him (hence my previous question about resetting the 3 month right of residence).

Thanks a lot guys! :)

CC,

I am in NI now, I'll have to update my thread. I haven't applied for the RC card yet though, becuase we have plans to travel to France for a week and I'll need my passport for that. I will be sending off the application as soon as I get back, on June 25th.
