Urgent :Advice required : New Tier-1 extension rules

I initially got my Tier-1 Visa in Mar-11,however I came to Uk in Mar-12 . Last year I got my Tier-1 (extn) which is valid until Mar-16.I would be eligible to apply for an ILR in Mar-17.

As per new rules ,Tier-1 extensions can be done until Apr-15.
Please suggest on this .Do I need to apply for my 2nd tier-1 extension before Apr-15 ?

Yes you will need to go for an extension before April 2015, but you would have to have done it anyway in 2016.

So only difference is you are going to have to do it a year in advance.

I am applying for my wife's PBS extension next I got my ILR last week. So she will get her three yet extension and she hs been on pbs already for a year. So does she need to get an extension again in 2017 for a year. Will there be any impact on her renewal in 2017 if this category won't exist anymore at that time

One more query .. If I apply before Apr 15 for an Tier-1 extension ( by post or premium service) ,I would get an extension for another 2 years or 3 years ???? Please confirm ...

3 years. Some ppl have had 2 yrs awarded in error, but have had it corrected.

Initially my visa was granted for 2 yrs then 3 yrs.

Would it be 2 + 3+ 3 ??
