Visit Visa Expires and Married in UK but didn't work

Hi,

my friend was divorced in Pakistan with two kids but was divorced and came in UK last year on visit visa because she had to save her life due to honor killing.

in UK, she got married (Islamic marriage ;Nikah' only) to a British citizen man sept last year, only stayed with the husband for three months, they knew her circumstances and said they will do the english marriage to make her legal in the UK.

However they didn't said the guy have had english wedding many years ago and although was not living with her ex but was/is still class married as per english law, only Talak was happend and now cannot do a english wedding to my friend.

They are not living together now and his family dont want her anymore.

My question is:

is there anyway she can live here legally as going back would be a threat to her life?

is there any thing we can do against her husband for what they did?

She has been to a solicitor and he said there is no way she can do anything and she would have to go back to her home country. She is very scared and dont want to go back and want to stay here.

Any helpful advise would be really appreciated.

Not at present, Pakistan is a big country and the so-called honour-killer is neither omniscient nor omnipresent. Surely she can find another town away from this bad person from which to do this properly...

Report to UBVI and see what they do, probably nowt....

Solicitor sounds like a wise man.

So she should return to Pak, away from family, and wait until the British Citizen sorts his mess out and apply properly. In any case you cannot switch from a visit visa in-country so a return is necessary anyway.

Can I also ask, because visa has expired, if she decide to go back would there be a stamp on her passport for overstaying and problem in future to get a UK visa in future?
