Age exemption for English for Tier 2 (Minister of religion)

Post by secret.simon » Tue Jun 17, 2014 12:26 am

Hi,

I'm fairly certain that this is a slightly unusual question for this forum, but I hope to receive constructive advice.

A member of my family is applying for a Tier 2 (Minister of Religion) visa. He is over 65 years of age. Could he request for an exemption from the English Requirement based on his age, as can somebody applying for ILR? I have read the guidance notes and done online research, but it has been unproductive.

Also, would anybody have an appropriate email address for the UKVI/Home Office to clarify this question?
