HO has responded to my FOI request. Please find below latest figure for SET LR applications made in Jan, Feb and March 2014 and how many of them still pending.

Jan 2014: Total applications: 765 , Decided: 705, Pending: 60

Feb 2014: Total applications: 690 , Decided: 260, Pending: 430

March 2014: Total applications: 725 , Decided: 10, Pending: 715

By looking above information and comparing it with information released on 03-06-2014 it is clear HO is dealing with Feb backlog and March applications are on hold.

I hope above information make sense for all of us waiting.

I have been reading this forum for a while now and its helped me a lot preparing for set(lr).
Just posted my documents to homeoffice so I guess waiting game starts now.
Can someone upgrade the skydrive for me.

I have tried keeping it simple with my documents.
Degree certificate, life in uk, SAR from homeoffice and Basic CRB .Declared a traffice offence which happened more than 24 months ago although it did'nt appear on CRB.

yes you should apply on flr (M) ,english level A1 and financial req should be meet plus you have to write covering letter and ask ho to hold your wife app untill they decide your application.

i called every week on wednesday or friday.
i called today and i was expecting the same reply that application is incompelete,
but today the person on other line asked me to hold and about after 10 seconds he replied, in that 10 seconds i thought that today he got different information on his computer screen,
and yes he said that a parcel is ready for 2nd class delivery today and he gave me the tracking no. as well.

Hi everyone,

I am new on this forum and I was wondering if I can get some advise here from you wonderful people.

My story, my husband came as a student in 2004, last visa was on PSW expired in 2012. I made application in July 2012 for extension on FLR (FP), this was refused in 2013 with a right of appeal. Appeal was in February 2014 but was withdrawn on the day for a reconsideration this was also refused this month with a right of appeal.

No criminal for both of us, now I and the kids have been here 8 years except the last who was born here and now 7 years. I don't have new appeal date yet but my husband will clock ten years in 2 months. Please note that the last two years have been on 3c, which I believe count towards your long residence.

Your advise will be highly appreciated as if God helps, we are hoping to change the basis on our appeal from FLR (FP) to long residence on my husband.

I hope to hear your view and your advise soon.

i have applied for my SAR and i also received an acknowledgement from the home office but its been over two weeks now and the amount has not been taken out from my account.either is this a routine matter or is there anything wrong.

This is routine. You will receive your data in due course and within 40 days. Payment is normalled debited when all the data is ready to be sent out to you. I apply in the mid of May and expecting a response back by end of June. All of friends who applied for SAR had their payment taken just before they got the SAR package.

Hi, I am a bit confused with a situation I am going through.
Actually, I got ILR a week ago on the basis of long term 10 years residence comprises of 6 years as a student, 2 years with post study work (psw) and remaining two years being a spouce of EEA National.
my question is, can I apply for british citizenship after 12 month if my wife get divorce now.
secondly, if I divorce to her now then do I need to provide my wife' treaty rights proofs after 12 months at the time of making application for BC.
Please reply, I will be grateful to you.

i don't think you will need to provide any of the above you mentioned when you are applying for your naturalisation to be a BC using application form AN. To the best of my knowledge if you decide to divorce your wife or vise versa and want to apply for Naturalisation after 12-months. i will advise you to download application form AN with its guidance to be aware of the requirements before you make any decision of divorce.

yes of course you can apply for her with a letter attached explaining to HO that they should base her application on the out come of yours. Am sure if you dig deep in the previous pages will come across a sample letter for your case.

Salam bro,

On 03-06-2014 there were 485 pending FEB applications.

On 17-06-2014 there are still 430 pending FEB applications. So in two weeks HO has decided only 55 FEB applications. By looking at those number and HO pace i think me and you have to wait till end of July.

Bro don't worry Insha Allah it will be a positive news. If they have posted today you should receive your package by Friday.

Keep tracking and as soon as it gets delivered Ring your solicitor. Don't wait for them to call u.

I applied on 6th May, HO received my SAR application on 8th May. The sent me acknowledgment letter on 25th May with date mentioned 21st May. Money was taken from my account on 1st June but so far haven't received anything from them yet. Should I contact them as from 6th May to 18 June it is now more than 40 days or they count 40 days from the day the sent me acknowledgement? Please advise??
