I also received reply from UKVI saying...

"Thank you for contacting the UK Visas and Immigration international enquiry service. Regarding your question, we would like to inform you that a decision in your application has been delayed whilst further enquiries are conducted. We hope that this has answered your query. For any further details, or should you need to contact us again please refer to our website at https://ukvi-international.faq-help.com/ Kind Regards, Thu-Van UKVI"

I hope the visa comes through next week in sha Allah!

TangoMike, these e-mails are getting common. It basically means what it says. They're enquiring further with the evidence that's been provided in the application. This could mean they're contacting tax office, employment, checking records. Who knows.

It's a great e-mail as it makes people like us impatient! Keeps on the edge and what not.

Yes, maybe i shouldnt get my hopes up because last time they kept saying its under process and waiting on results from enquiries when in actual fact it was on hold!

But they don't have a reason to put it on hold now and with the new system in place inshaAllah it won't be long!

I send e mail with scan copy of p60 on 21 MAY to MP, bhc ISB received on 29 MAY. now at least i know they cant put me on hold or refuse over financial requirement. hope for best. Insha ALLAH
May the blessings of Allah fill your life with happiness and open all the doors of success now and always.

Yes same reason why I want to send it. I have also got my Employment History from HMRC and it matches my P60..
This information is easily accessible for them from HMRC so realistically speaking they dont even need these. Nevertheless we need to tighten any reason for refusal over financial requirement.
They really are taking the mick wjth our applications though.
Appreciate your reply Zeeh.
Applied 17th Jan 2014

Called for Interview 3rd July 2014
ALHAMDHULILLAH VISA GRANTED SAME DAY

Generally you're not supposed to send additional docs unless requested, but Zeeh just sent his p60 in via his MP so that's worth a try... You applied at a similar time as me (well my hubby did). We're still waiting too. Emailed my MP this week to get it chased because visa enquiry service said it's still waiting to be assessed. So all in all I would contact your local MP to see if they can chase up what's happening for you and possibly forward the documents to BHC For you.

Saf,

for what reason your application was put on hold?
