Hi, I two questions, one of which is similar question to the question already posted here - I'd be really grateful if somebody could answer:
Details:
Entry clearance date: 13/04/2010
First entry to UK: 17/06/2010 (arrived to UK after 66 days of entry clearance)
Current Leave to remain expires on 13/04/2015
QUESTION 1: What period is considered for qualifying periods of 5 years.
(i) from 13/04/2010 to 13/04/2015 (5 years) OR
(ii) from 17/06/2010 to 17/06/2010 (5 years)
It's it's (i), does this mean I can apply for my ILR 28 days before 13/04/2015?
QUESTION 2: When can I calculate my continuous period in the UK? Does it start from 17 June 2010 or 13 April 2010? If it's 17 June 2010 then that doesn't give me the full qualifying continuous period.
If it's 13 April 2010, then if I apply 28 before my leave expires, it means I wasn't in the UK at the time when the qualifying period begins. Confused!!
Many thanks for your responses and help!
