Switching from Tier 2 General to Tier 2 ICT Long/Short term

Post by kevstar » Tue Jun 24, 2014 12:51 am

Dear all,

Just a quick question, really!

Is it possible to switch from Tier 2 General to Tier 2 ICT Long/Short Term? I know it is for the other way around.

I would like to join our parent company which is registered as a seperate A-rated sponsor with UKVI and wondering if this is possible and if the parent company would be required to conduct a resident market labour test for such transfer?

Thanks for your time.

ICT does not need a RLMT.

However, to be eligible for ICT, you should be employed by the Sponsor/Employer for atleast 1 year in any of the overseas office.

Thanks aja for clarifying this for me.

I understand that the authoring officer/Level 1 User can set up several departments or sub companies on SMS? Would the parent company/sponsor be able to take over and sponsor me this way by issuing me a new CoS for T2G extension?

Regards,
Kevin
