Visitor visa for in-laws (with previous visits)

Hi,

I have an urgent enquiry about sponsoring in-laws on visitor visa. My in-laws have been to UK on visitor visa twice. Each time they have visited they have left within the time limit.

So far I had time to send them following documents in original copy via post.
Sponsor letter
Bank statement.

Because of the urgency of my personal situation. This time I don't have enough time to send original document. Instead I can send scan copy of the sponsor letter and online copy of the bank statement.

Would this be ok? or will there be an issue at the embassy.

They are coming from India.

I would really appropriate if someone can help (esp. someone who have obtained visa with scanned or e-copy)
