Family or Visitor Visa?

Post by abby1415 » Sat Jun 28, 2014 10:50 pm

Hi

I am hoping for my :

Brother1, Mother, Sister in Law (2nd Brother' wife) and her son to come to the UK to attend my eldest son's wedding.

I am a housewife.

My husband earns 12k.

My daughter earns 30k and has savings of around 25k.

How would I invite them to the UK? Would my daughter invite them and sponser them financially? Would this be general or family visa?

I have read the relevant uk government website but I confused.

Please help me.

Thank you

if you sponsor then

Brother1 (family),
Mother (family),
Sister in Law (2nd Brother' wife) (general)
and her son (general)

even if your husband sponsors then it will remain as above

in case you or your husband sponsor, you have to give proof that you have enough financial means to support their visit and also that they have ties in back home and will return

if your daughter sponsor then

Brother1 (general),
Mother (family),
Sister in Law (2nd Brother' wife) (general)
and her son (general)

again she will show her financial situation and means to accommodate them for whatever duration they are coming

please always remember that no matter how strong your sponsorship is, fact remains that applicant has to proof genuineness of visit and has to satisfy that they have enough interests in back home that they will return back
