Tier1 General Depedant - After April 2015

Tier 1 General Dependant entered in March 2013.

Visa valid till June 2015.

Main applicant eligible for ILR ?

what form / extension should dependant apply ?

As far as anyone is aware, Tier 1 dependent applications will still be allowed after the April 6, 2015 cutoff. So as long as the main applicant still holds that visa type, they can still have a dependent on that type of visa.

Main applicant is eligible for ILR on Jul 2015. As of now both have the visas till Jul 2015.

So what happens to dependant. As dependant cannot apply before april because the visa will be given based on Main applicants status.

please guide.

Hi Vijay,

The changes for extension only specifically call out for main applicant. The Dependents will still be allowed to extend LTR or apply for Entry Clearance post April 2015.

In your case if you get ILR by Jul 2015 then your wife can still extend her visa by making a tier 1 dependent application as per the rules in place currently.
