Urgent Help Needed Please

Hi all,

I applied for a Tier 1 visa in December 2012 and had not got a decision until May when my new company switched to a Tier 2 visa. 8 weeks would have finished this week but they sent a letter to my company stating that they are performing checks with other government departments and cannot complete my application in 8 weeks. I am very stressed. it has been more than 18 months now since first application...i cant start my new job until visa arrives...i am very frustrated can anyone let me know what to do? i have tried everything calling them calling my mp as well. Please help
