Hello Gurus,

My friend just got a job but the company does not have COS. He his on Tier 4 at the moment and already has MSc from the Uk.

1. The company is willing to apply for the certificate, but it appears he will be the one to apply for it on behalf of the company. Does anyone has list of documents to provide?

2. Or better still, does anyone knows a good consultant that can help?

3. Is he eligible to switch from tier 4 to tier 2 given that he has MSc certificate from the the UK?

Does the company hold a sponsor licence?
from what i gather the way you are saying it, i dont think the company is a sponsor, and legally, it is the company who needs to do all the sponsor licence and then assign a COS.
Read guidance for becoming a sponsor.
