Family Visitor visa for parents visiting UK

Hello All,

I want to invite my parents to UK in May 2015 on family visitor visa. Generally home office would give 6 months visa, but my Tier 1 visa expires end of July 2015. When my tier 1 expires, I will be getting ILR in same day appointment service.

So I wonder if my parents will get a family visitor visa from May - July 2015?? or will they get it for 6 months duration from May - Oct 2015??

They will probably either get a 6 month visitor visa or be rejected due to the imminent expiry of your visa.

So I'd openly state your plan to acquire ILR when applying.
