Wedding Card and Marriage Certificate

Post by vikas_2603 » Mon Jul 07, 2014 2:24 pm

Hi

I am about to apply for my wife's visa (Settlement - Wife). I am a british citiizen and my wife is in India. We got married in May this year. In terms of supporting documents, I am attaching the wedding cards from both sides but they are in Hindi, not English. Do I need to do something about it? Not sure how to get it translated into English. Is it required?

Thanks
Vikas

Forgot to add... the marriage certificate is in English - provided by the State Government.

Your wedding certificate should be fine provided you have proofs of communication like emails, chats, phone logs and all that b4 your wedding.

...and all contact between you after the wedding.
