Kiran khan wrote:Hello there, if anyone could help me regarding my visa. My kid is British and my huband both. I m living here for 4 years. I applied on FLR (FP) because my husband couldn't meet the income requirement. I just want to make sure about the form. Was that right. Please tell me how much time it will take. Only the money is deducted through my account. I applied myself on 30 June 2014. Plz tell me
Kiran khan- welcome to the forum. Since you quickly identified that your hubby could not meet the income threshold FLR (FP) is the right form. You have filled the right form.
You must have received the acknowledgment letter from the HO saying your form has been received and that it may take some considerable time to decide the application because of the nature of the application ECHR European Convention on Human Rights. If you have not receive this letter don't worry it will soon come. Then they will send you another letter asking you to submit your finger prints at some designated post office. For the time frame this could depend on how straightforward your application is, the case work and probably favour. People have put an estimate between 6weeks- 9 weeks. Also because you have a British kid and hubby you may be ask for additional documentary evidences. I hope this answer your question. Once again you are welcome

Rue- I quite understand. My partner waited for 2 1/2 for reconsideration and at the end no favourably decision and is like we started again. There is notting impossible for God to do. I have confidence that since they ask for another biometric the case is active and is under consideration.
Keep the faith. It shall be well

By the way child was born in UK so I just took his bang passport and submitted so I think that's why no appeal

But do you think it will affect further application ?

Guys,

I wonder if you could please help me. I've read on numerous occassions that UKBA will send the ECHR letter to the applicant.

I'm very curious to find out that what exactly this letter is? and how can you make Home Office to send you the letter.

Thanks

P.S. My friends case was refused along with reconsideration request. you could find the details in my previous posts.
GOD BLESS

@ Rue why don't you ring the homeoffice you keep asking everyone, over and over again. Everyone here has a different case worker with a different outcome. You may have the same facts with someone on this board doesn't mean the decision will be the same.

I'm sorry if ur offended by my question its an open board, I'm only asking for like minded ppl to share there story and experiences ike those who have been doing before me. Why shall I call the home office? I don't need your prescription as this is not a legal site but only an open forum/ board where ppl come together to share their views and stories.
