Child benifit question please help!!!

Hi

can someone answer the below question for me please

I got my ILR on 10/4/14. My wife and daughter got the ILR on 1/7/14
my son is born in UK

if I claim child benefit, should I claim from 10/4/14 or 1/7/14?
bit confused on the question whether I am subjected to immigration control 3 months ago?

also should i send all originals(passport, BRP) to HMRC or the photo copies?

Hello I can't remember that if the chb starts from the date of your ILR, but you can check this with hmrc. You don't have to send all original documents, I sent photocopy of my passport first two pages and brp plus child's birth certificate.
