Buddies,

My application consists of following documents. Kindly do remind me if I have missed any. I am applying from Saudi Arabia with following documents.

1. Age (0)
Certified copy of Passport
since I am older than 32!!

2. Qualification (30)
Original Bachelor of Architecture Degree

Supporting Documents:

Original Transcript, printed on plain paper, signed and sealed by Institution.

Architectural Excellence award

RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) recognization of my Institution, web link and printout of recognization.

Architects Council Membership in my Home Country

3. Past Earings (45) Period (August 1st -2006 till July 31st -2007)
Since In Saudi Arabia all income is exempted from Tax, therefore I am providing following evidences;

Past 12 months Wage Slips on company's letter head, stamped and sealed

Salary Certificate from employer mentioning my name, designation, date of joining, last 12 months salaries (by each month), mode of payment- Cash, and contact details. This certificate is on company's letter head, signed by employer, sealed and counter verified by local chamber of Commerce, Jeddah.

The only doubt is about our company's official stamp which is in Arabic and Verification by Chamber of Commerce is also in Arabic, Although the Salary Certificate is in English. Should I Translate the stamps?????

Total Points claiming = 75

4. English Proficiency Letter from the Institution stating my name, degree awarded, date and my English abilities in Reading, Writing, Listening and speaking.

5. General Covering Letter, seperate covering letters for each section (where I am claiming points) explaining all the documents I am submitting along with.

6. Application FORM (Without any photos) and GBP Fee Payment details. I am using friends credit card.

7. Courier return arrangment request form.

8. Table of Section Contents.

9. Copies of original Documents.

That's all...

Please do remind me if I have missed any thing...
Wish me luck.. and Good luck to all...

Thanks

If you are not claiming any points for age then you do not need to submit any proof for age.

I would vouch for a DD too. Though it takes about an extra weeks time, its a lot more safer as it will work 10 out of 10 times.

Well it takes 5 working days for a UK Cheque / DD to clear. It could be +/- 1-2 days as well, depending on your luck. But it works for sure.

Yes guys DD is one of the safest mode.
However it takes from 2-5 biz days for the clearing. But it never gets declined/bounced.

Usually it takes 2-3 days for getting the email confirmation (once the payment gets thru)depending on your mode of payment. If it's UK postal orders they get cleared on the same day. CC payments may get delayed to one day. International DDs may take upto 5 biz days.

So wait and chill. Dont worry.

Dear Ilcool,
Naric replies by phone that my degree is equivalent to UK Bachelor (ordinary). My question is

whether Bachelor (ordinary) is enough to get through the HSMP process???????

Did u submitted your application and approved with your Bachelor (Ordinary) degree?????

and If this is the case what documents did you submitted along with your application.?

IELTS was included or you submitted letter from institution for English profeciency???

kindly reply.

Hey,

Is there any way to contact the payment processing team?

I have opted for CC payment, but had made a mistake of mentioning £315.00 instead of £400.00 in the payment section of the HSMP app form. which is the fee before April 2007.

Since it is a CC i hope to clear the payment details error.

Payment Details Correction
10 Amount £ £400.00
.

From the guideline i see that my appln processing time may be delayed.

I had made this mistake as i had a print of version - 3.0, valid from - 26.01.07 & had not refered version - 5.0, valid from - 01.06.07.

hope u guys know about the different version of guidelines.

Thank You,

lk

Dear LionKing

write to them 'HSMP.Workpermits@ind.homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk'
or fax them and inform about it - since its a CC theres a thin chance in getting your docs back for the error.

when did you send ur application?

I am using CC to pay for my application. In the payments section of the HSMP application there is a field for valid from and expiry date of the CC.
My CC has only the expiry date mentioned and i am using that, will it be a problem if i don`t mention the valid from date ?

Request to help ASAP....

Regards

saratbabu07,

I havn't came across any credit card without having a "valid from date".

To my knowlodge expiry date, the start date and the 3 digit
security code on the reverse are used as a validating evidence, if they did not match then the payment will be declined, so try to avoide using CC as mode of payment and you can go for other options like cheque/DD.

(I am just not sure if CC are issued without a valid from date, in India they dont and I am not sure of any other country).
