Hello Everyone,

Is there anyone who is currently in Bangalore?
You may be planning to apply for HSMP/ EC or trying for a job in UK.
Why can't we meet at somewhere at Bangalore and share our concerns and comments.
Atleast we can call and help each other.
I applied HSMP by myself and got approval.
I can definitely help people who are planning to apply hsmp.

I have not yet applied for EC.
There may be some one who can help me on this.

Please respond if you are in Bangalore

Hi Paul,

I am from Bangalore too and I have applied for HSMP approval this month and awaiting the decission, its a nice idea to share all our experiences and help each other from getting the approval/EC etc till we land up in UK with a good job.

I hope other asperients of HSMP from bangalore will also join us soon..

Hi Guys,

Would like to share some good news.
My HSMP app is approved !! I am
arranging for the collection of documents.

My time lines.

App Sent : 21st July
App reached HO : 24th July
Payment cleared : No idea [ as done thru DD ]
Ref No mailed : 1st Aug
Assigned to
caseworker : No idea again !!
Approved : 10th Aug [ email sent by caseworker ]

This forum truly has a wealth of information and has been
really helpful in making a successful application.

Now the battle for EC begins.

I heard from more than 25 HSMP/EC applicants from Bangalore.
The meeting is scheduled for tomorrow (1-Sept, Saturday).

Date: 1-September, 2007, Saturday
Time: 2pm ( The gang will be there till 2.30pm and move to a more comfortable place near-by.)
Venue: Indiranagar (Near CMH Road - 100 Feet road Junction)
Please be there at the road between CMH Road park and Bimal Maruthi showroom.

10 people met at CMH road by 2 to 2.30pm on Sept 1.
7 were applying for EC.
Rest were applying for HSMP.
Discussed various things for around 3 hours.
The gang dispersed after having coffee from Coffee day by 5.40pm.

Other people who have attented this meeting can add something more...

Hi,
Guys I'm done with all the docs. I'm now applying to EC I'm having bit of doubt. I'm planning to send docs through VFS by Wednesday.
I've booked my accommodation from 30th Nov to 6th DEC.

My doubt is the booking what I've made is fine or Do I've to book it for 2 weeks or do I've to postpone my booking date.

My hotel is 20min from london. I guess that will not be a problem right

Please ur advise will be great help to me.

I am planning to be there in UK sometimes end of January. I am trying to gather information related contract jobs. These jobs pay high. Do you have any idea about these contract jobs. I am curious to know weather the jobs go through the agreed time period of contract or not?
