Who are waiting. looks like there ll be no ceremony in August, instead there will be one in Sep 2014.

Yah,I spoke with cherie today at the citizenship department and she told me that, there would be one b4 October definitely. I reckon September.

i would say 27 September, they love the numbers 4, 14ish, and 27 :D and 27 is close to october which is after nearly 3 months of the prev ceremony

Well, if they do ceremony in end of Sep/almost October, its mean the next ceremony will be end of Jan 2015. about 4 months without ceremony! be good if they do this one in early Sep and next one in end of Nov. just a thought!

Am going on a holiday from 15 August to 20 then I will send my GNIB and the fee will this effect me not attending the ceremony ? I got my approval 17july and I think the ceremony would be the end of September what do u think guys ???

What if the ceremony daye is announced begining of September ? and if u send them ur GNIB after 20th August, Will be that enough time to sort you out you can miss the ceremony , i think u should wait for the dates to b announced i also got approval letter on 17th , i sent them my GNIB on 20th , aniways my gnib was expiring on 22nd July ..

my personal thought is it could be any time after 20 sept and before october ... in that case to attend the coming ceremony u must send your documents atleast a month before u must send them in August or ASAP to make ur seat confirmed once to pay ur fee. the soon u pay fee the soon u will get your invitation letter :) this is how it works

Today i got email that i will be invited to next ceremony,and about date they said " The date is not yet finalised but we are looking at
Mid-Late September."

Hey .. it is nice to hear that , atleast now we know exactly what month the ceremony will be .. i got my approval on 15th July , so hopefully i will be invited in coming ceremony ...

janet0001, i email them to info@justice.ie to find out about receiving my documents and payment and asked them about expected data of next ceremony, and they told me that. then i reply to them with question about my visa, (my visa expire on 22 September 14 and maybe i need extend it to cover my stay for ceremony) and they shortly get back to me even with better news

from Tony Greene Citizenship Division "I have been told that the citizenship ceremony is actually planed for the same date 22 September 2014"
My happiness was over the limit.

I am so looking forward to that ceremony

That's good to hear. U should prepare to send ur passport application the same day then. Hopefully,they'll include most if not all of us on the ceremony. Thx for sharing...

DUBLIN CITIZENSHIP CEREMONY IN SEPTEMBER 2014

The next citizenship ceremonies will take place in The Convention Centre Dublin, Spencer Dock, North Wall Quay, Dublin 1 on Monday 22nd September, 2014.
Some 3,100 candidates will attend the ceremonies where they will take an oath of fidelity to the nation, receive their certificate of naturalisation and thereby become Irish citizens.
