Job Search in a VISIT VISA

Hi guys,

I am coming to UK in a Visit Visa in September 3rd week & wud be staying there for 3 full weeks for some personal work.

Could you suggest me whether i can search & get a job while i am in Visit visa.
or Do you guys think i can find a company who will sponsor me a WP ?
(Any job that will pay me decently will do for me, at least temporarily. )

I am software professional with 4+ years of experience in mainframe technology.

Friends pls gimme ur suggestions.

I would suggest U start looking the job while U r at home and U r just using 2 weeks for the interview if U r invited. But please keep in mind, by law The company need to provide preference to UK?EU nationals. It means you need to have expereicne, skills and qualifitian higher then them.

It will normally work if U r working in shortage occupation work in highly profile MNCs i(not local comanies) n your countries

Does anyone has the figures on work permit approval for those who had to pass the advertising and economic test (ie not those on the shortage occupation)??
What is the sucess rate?
