FLR(M) Success at PEO Croydon - 29 July 2014

Post by shoji147 » Wed Jul 30, 2014 4:00 am

Hi guys
First of all i want to say thank you once again to all you nice and helpful people on here who helped me with my wife's application for FLR M. Special thanks to Amber for her continuous support throughout my applications for ILR and FLR M.

Now to the fun part.

We booked online and paid in advance for the appointment.
It was at 1:10 PM
We arrived 30 minutes earlier. ( Parked at Whitgift Centre opposite Lunar House Building. After 12 PM it was £3.00 for All Day :) )
There is an underpass close to traffic lights if you guys wanna cross towards home office building side.

Usual Security Search.
Went to the third floor for PEO Appointment.
Got issued a ticket and asked to wait in the canteen ( took 5 minutes)
Ticket called for Case Registration and payment verification ( wait time 20 Minutes )
Biometrics Called for straight after the case registration. ( no wait in our case )
Submitted the case file along with all the evidence and docs.
Guy at the window told my wife to wait as it will now be passed on to case worker.
Came back in the canteen area.
25 minutes later Documents popped up to be ready for collection. ( I was shocked to see the response time. 25 minutes)
Went to the counter to collect and there it was.
Approval Letter stating BRP will be on its way :D :D :D

The whole process from entering the building to exit with an approval letter was 1 hour and 25 minutes roughly.

Our case was straight forward case and I compiled everything nicely in order for the caseworker to spend less time digging through the bundles with labels on every plastic see through sleeves of documents.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Documents Submitted
  • Passport for Wife with Entry Clearance stamp in it.
  • Passport of myself with my BRP (ILR)
2 photos of wife with full name at the back)
1 Photo of myself (with full name at the back)
FLR M Form Completed and Signed
English Lanuage Requirement
  • English Language B1 Certificate(we only needed A1 but My wife went for B1 for future Set M application aswell)
Financial requirement ( we only needed 18,600 as kids were born here hence MN1 application for them)
  • ** 6 payslips ( 4 weekly pay not full month 30 day pay )
  • ** Corresponding bank statements as I have been in one employment for the past 2 years so applied under Category A.
(I also provided 7 more payslips and corresponding bank statements for them as 4 weekly payslip amount did not meet their calculation procedure. So i also provided a letter from myself explaining that I recieved 13 pays in 12 months therefore the calculation method for the home office should be lowest weekly pay x 52.
  • ** Letter from Employer confirming employment type duration weekly salary and annual salary.
  • ** P60 from Inland Revenue showing total amount earned in the last year.
Cohabitation Proof

We only provided what was asked and not a massive bundle.
In the form the guidance said that if we were to deposit 4 documents in joint names, then we will have to provide 2 more documents each in applicant and sponsors name separately Total = 8 Documents
  • ** Joint Council Tax Bill ( July 2014)
** Joint Anglian Water Bill ( June 2013)
** Joint Essex and Suffolk Water Bill ( November 2012)
    ** Joint Tenancy Agreement ( October 2013 till October 2014 )
Individual Documents
  • ** Bank Statement ( Applicant )
** N.I. Number Letter from Jobcentre plus ( Applicant )
    ** DVLA SORN Letter ( Sponsor )
    ** Bank Statement ( Sponsor )
Relationship Proof
  • Marriage Certificate Original and Translated version (Attested)
  • Children's Birth Certificates
Provided one complete set of photocopies of everything provided in the same order aswell.

Documents they Kept:
  • Letter from Employer
    Covering Letters
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

All in all a very nice and quick application experience, All the staff there were very nice and helpful as well...
Good luck to all...
Sorry for lengthy post but i thought it will help people who are still going through this process.

Thank you once again

Sujji

Thanks a lot. My wife did the same test as well, & we are going for ILR in August.
Thanks for confirming. Bit relieved now about the validity of test. :D
