Citizenship.

Post by CesarBB29 » Sun Aug 03, 2014 3:10 pm

Dear All,

I am planning to apply for BC soon but I have one question.

I was an over stayer in the uk in 2007 when i then Applied for the Certificate of Approval, which was granted.

I then got married in the uk with a EEa member, had my 5 years of Residence card and now i just applied for my PR.

If i apply for the citizenship, will i have issues because of that period I overstayed?

Please let me know.

Thank you.

As the overstay was over 5 years ago, it shouldn't matter.
