Maternity Leave for Tier 2 (General)

Post by gaurav0098 » Sun Aug 03, 2014 8:31 pm

Hi,

I have a question regarding Maternity leave. My wife is working on Tier 2 (General) visa. Is she entitled for Maternity leave? If yes then for how long?

We are planning to have child in UK only and she will not be leaving the country. If she goes on Maternity leave, then will her Tier 2 Visa and my Tier 2 General Dependent visa still be valid?

She need to check the maternity leave policy in her organization. This is not related to immigration.

Again, not an immigration issue. As long as her organization keeps her on their payroll during the maternity period, the visa would remain valid.
