do i need to provide mortgage documents (co-owned with my partner) and engagement ring receipt to show i have links in the UK and most of "estate" is here? my partner is British

do u mean 5 yr work visa like Tier1, Tier 2 general.. and not a dependant of British citizen..?

As you are applying on your own u dont need to show all these documents..
