Urgent Help - CoS wrong Passport issue date

Hi , I am allying for Tier 2 General Extension.

during review of online application (yet not submitted) found my employer entered wrong Issue date of Passport.

my actual is 24 Jul xxxx
they entered 24 June xxxx

Shall i ask them for new CoS or adding a note in SMS would be fine?

If your employer can amend it, its the preferred option.

Once CoS allocated , it contents can not be amended except employer can add note . Not sure HO accept note for this mistake

You'll not find this documented. You can ask your employer to call the employer helpline and check with home office on this. A sponsor note might be enough!

thanks for response, i did call to HO SMS helper center and they said same to have note .

worst thing is my HR manager is on annual leave and will be back after 25th , and i want to have it ASAP
