Recieved Call from case worker last tuesday that i had paid less fee for 5 year tier 2. I replied him that i had applied for 3 years. Caseworker ask to send him a letter from company to issue me 3 year tier 2 visa instead of 5 year. My company attach scanned letter and send him by email.

Did you get new job in same profession?
mankurup wrote:Hello,
I would like to know if there is any acknowledgement letter sent from UKBA after they receive the supporting documents (signed form and Passport). In my case I have received no communication from UKBA even after one month. Also my online status says Submitted on xxxxxxxxxxx, but i have not received my Biometrics invitation.
Is there any way I can know if the passport is with UKBA? Royal mail confirms the delivery of documents.
I think if Royal mail confirms the delivery, then it is delivered.
Mine is tier 2 general visa extension.

This will help members to view the timelines at one place rather than posting the same rhetorical questions time and again (e.g.- Can some please tell me current processing times in UK / when will my application be decided upon / why is my application taking too long etc. etc.) and will help reduce clutter on the database too, so you will be doing a good cause.
