Original Documents, Certificates Submitted Be Laminated

Hi,

Recently got refused and had my documents sent back. I wish to re-apply
My ORIGINAL degree certificate is just over A3 size
However even though I had provided a special envelope when it was returned it had been squashed and torn on the sides.

Can I laminate the certificate so this does not happen again and if I do would it still be regarded as original. I dont want it torn again neither do I want my re-application refused because they cannot see the authenticity of my degree certificate.

Any comments would be appreciated.

Should not be problem. Mine certificate was laminated,too. And got approval.
