SET(M) English Language requirement

Post by scorpio7 » Mon Aug 18, 2014 12:49 pm

Hi
I have to apply for ILR SET(M) in November. I have passed the LIfe in UK test. I have an IELTS certificate which has expired. I was wondering if that would work as an English Language requirement for the ILR application or will I have to give some other English test for it?
I also wanted to know if it would be a problem for us in my ILR application if my husband(who is a british citizen) is working on part time basis & taking housing benefit. I am working voluntarily from the past 1 year.

An expired approved English language certificate should be acceptable if it meets B1.
