MN1 section 1(3) Registration: Child nationality, etc

Post by Mata » Tue Aug 19, 2014 1:56 pm

First, on the MN1 form, section 1.9 asks for present child nationality. Children were born in the UK to parents of different nationalities (Malawi and Jamaica). Parents were not yet settled at the time the children were born. Parents now have ILR. Parents are not married, but live together as husband and wife. What would be the current nationality of the child? Children do not have any passport.

Second, does Section 2: Residence requirements apply to MN1 section 1(3) Registration? Children were born in the UK and have never left the UK at all.

Third, for MN1 section 1(3) Registration what document need to be sent with the application? The Guide says for evidence of identity like child birth certificate can be provided. Does, this mean that only birth certificate will be sent with the application?

Fourth, in the past there used to be a discount if two children apply for registration together. Has this discount been removed meaning that now every child will now have to pay £669 each? No more discount?

Fifth, the fee must be sent with the application form. If applying for two children and the forms will be sent in one envelop, should the applications use one or separate payment payment slips?

Thanks in advance.
