Neutralization to British citizen

Post by nodeen » Tue Aug 19, 2014 7:35 am

Hi

I have a quick question? Does Discretionary Leave to Remain count as evidence of freedom from immigration time restrictions? A little background information.... I was granted Indefinite Leave to Remain in 2010 and prior to that I had discretionary leave. My question is do I have to wait 5 years before applying for neutralization or does discretionary leave count?

Many thanks

DLR counts as residency as you had valid leave.

Discretionary leave would count as lawful leave.
