It should be the student entry dateniketya wrote:In my case, I am going to be completing my 10 years as a student + a work permit holder at the end of this month, however I came to UK in feb/1997 for two weeks on a tourist visa and returned home to complete my high school, later returning in Aug 1997. Needless to say I have based my calculation on my student visa entry in aug/1997.
My question is, in the application set(0) form do I put the initial entry date when I came as a tourist (feb/1997) or when I came as a student (aug/1997)?
Many thanks

could you please advised me how to apply for SAB?
Unlike the fee for leave to remain, they take chq as payment and start processing the request. It doesnot matter even they have not cashed the chq because the chq goes to different department for the submission to the bank. You should receive your file within 40 days.niketya wrote:Sam123,
Well it takes a while, so do not be alarmed. Also, we are in the middle of the festive season, so it might take slightly longer. If I am not wrong the cheque was cashed approx 20 days later.
I hope this helps.
