I have a question regarding required documents for tier 2 dependent visa. The rental agreement and council tax bills are mandatory? or people attach them just to be on safe side?

I attached for safe side, as a proof of residence of my wife ( it was named to both of us)

nothing received yet. each day increase stress , HO cant understand that guy with family who have applied for extension (not PSW swtich) already invested in terms of time and money (taxes + NI) in the UK.

I dont know if my case rejected how would i rollback whole stuff , school going children.. resettle to homeland ..

that's why I asked early , what is success ratio of T2 G extension

@khurram

I know it is a pain. Extension should be a simple process as they have all our information! To add to that, the help desk is not useful and give conflicting answers. When did you apply? I still don't have my biometric letter.

I would like to know if there is any acknowledgement letter sent from UKBA after they receive the supporting documents (signed form and Passport). In my case I have received no communication from UKBA even after one month. Also my online status says Submitted on xxxxxxxxxxx, but i have not received my Biometrics invitation.
Is there any way I can know if the passport is with UKBA? Royal mail confirms the delivery of documents.

I think if Royal mail confirms the delivery, then it is delivered.
Mine is tier 2 general visa extension.

Hi,
I have received my Biometrics letter and enrolled for it on 15-Aug-2014. Now I am awaiting application approval.

Hello,

I have applied for my Tier-2 General application (Switching Employer) via post on the 11th of August i.e. Monday and it reached on Tuesday i.e. the 12th of August 2014 (had sent it via registered post). I haven't received any communication from UKBA regarding receiving the application or biometric enrolment or anything. Can anyone point me out whether this is normal or should I contact UKBA to check up on it. If so, could anyone provide me with a number I could ring on please? I am quite worried.

Cheers.

it is not always take 1 week to get ack + barometric letters , some of friends got it after several weeks , so i I would advise wait till coming monday and then communicate to Home Office. ( i know it is difficult to wait in this situation)

Hello epitutor,

I live totally opposite to you i.e. Poole (Dorset). Hoping to receive some information about my application. Just for everyone's information, I have provided a cheque to pay for my application. Has your amount been deducted from your account epitutor?

I paid via cheques and my payments have gone through successfully as well so I'm hoping to hear back from them soon. Have you received any information on your biometric enrolment?

no. Nothing yet. Since I applied online , i got an automated email acknowledgement. So they might not send a acknowledgement letter. No biometrics yet. I called them up to confirm that my application is on the system and that documents have been have been received. It is there, and have been asked to wait.
