student finance on dlr

I am currently on an extended dlr(3 more yrs to ilr) is it possible to apply for student finance now as I have lived here legally for the previous 3 yrs, a friend of mine said it's possible but I just want to be sure pls help good people

Yes, if you applied for asylum and were refused and instead granted Humanitarian Protection.

Oh no I got it based on my daughter and now married to her mother n expecting another baby..that means I have to wait till 2017 then
