Hello, i'm on a tier 2 visa current in the UK. If i leave my job i believe i have 60 days to leave the country. Does this still apply if i don't intend to work?

Also if i leave my job and want to come back in on a tourist visa do you think that's likely?

Anyone have any ideas / clues? It's quite hard to decipher the guidance :-)
