ILR - Tier 1 (General) + 2 Dependants

Post by UKcitizen2be » Tue Aug 19, 2014 9:12 pm

Hello.

My wife is on the Tier 1 General Visa and my son (2 years old) and I are her dependants.

We have the Life in the UK test and are just about to complete the SET ) Form.

My questions:
1. Do the dependants have to show:
- Bank Statements
- travel out the country
- anything else?
2. My wife has a BA degree majoring in English from the University of Cape Town. What does she need to do in order not to write the ESOL.
3. Is there a seperate form for the dependants to fill out or is the SET O form the only form to complete?

Thanks very much in advance!

My son was born in the UK.

I'm not sure what you mean by dep leave but we have had the Tier 1 Visa for 5 years come 30/08/14.

Spouse's degree needs to be checked on the PBS calculator (T1). The child can be excluded from the application, instead being registered as British once either parent is granted ILR.

Spouse and main applicant on SET(O), together.

Thanks for this Amber.

As the dependant, will I need to show:

1. Payslips
2. How long I have been out the country
3. Bank Statements
4. Any other documents?

(I know that I have to the ESOL and Life in the UK test).
