permitted absence in last 12 months before applying

Post by shace318 » Wed Aug 27, 2014 10:17 am

Hi All

I got my ILR on 10/4/14. (from tier-1)
I just read that a person cannot be absent for more than 3 months
prior to applying for naturalisation.

my issue is that I travel a lot outside UK. I have already been outside from UK for 6 weeks since I got my ILR, and my company is planning to send me for a long stay outside UK which will easily go beyond 3 months.

what are my options? have anyone applied for naturalisation with more than 3 months absence?
because its the nature of my job will I have any clause?

please help

Thank you

Shace
