NARIC Assessment, please help

Post by virgoguy » Fri Aug 17, 2007 1:05 pm

Dear Group Members

I have done my Bachelors in Engineering from University of Pune. I am hopeful I get the 30 points for the bachelors degree for this.

1) Do I have to get a NARIC assessment done for this myself
2) OR the HSMP caseworker will have this data/comparison available in their database?
3) Not sure if we need to send NARIC assessment along with the HSMP application

Please help

Regards

dear Vir,
Show your Bachelors of Engg. Degree as Academic qualification rather than Professional Qualifications. U can find phone numbers of NAric on one the threads on this forum. Just call Naric wether your university degree is recognised on Naric database. (just for your own peace of mind) Otherwise HSMP caseworker will have Naric database to verify yours. It is not necessary to send NARIC assessment until unless you are filliing professinal qualification.

No its not needed. usually, degree obtained from AICTE approved colleges in India is considered equivalent to UK Bachelors(honors).
So don't worry.

Oh thanks nsm2010!

That means I can still claim 30 points for the academic qualification?
