Hi all, a question about the set(m) application form - each time I print it, it cuts off the page number bit at the bottom - anyone had the same issue? I've tried changing the print settings but it doesn't make a difference - will that be a problem?

Update: Called HO this afternoon, and was told that my case is with a caseworker, but not yet completed. Wait for home office to contact you. Now what does this mean. Can't HO speak in simple everyday English so we all can understand them. Any help would be wonderful. Cheers.

Finally

My wife's timeline:

SET (0)
Current visa expiry: 23-04-14
Application method: Postal delivery
Date of application: 16-04-14
Date of application received at HO: 17-04-14
Date bio-metrics completed: 17-05-14
Date of decision:29-08-14
Date of originals received: 01-09-14
Date of BRP card:Not received yet.

Also please note that when my wife applied, she had a shortfall of 2 months to complete the 2 year period for settlement. We took a risk, gladly saying that because Home Office is slow in processing the application, the shortfall has been completed inside :D So I did not have to pay another fee to extend the visa.

Good luck for everyone, our visa application sagas have now ended, and thanks to everyone on this forum for all their efforts and brilliant advises.

I finally received good news as well after 4 1/2 months:

SET (0) Tier 1
Current visa expiry: early May 2014
Application method: Postal delivery
Date of application: 15-04-14
Date of application received at HO: 16-04-14
Date bio-metrics completed: early May 2014
Date of decision: 29-08-14
Date of originals received: 01-09-14
Date of BRP card: Not received yet

Best of luck to everyone else waiting. I've been mostly a passive reader of this forum for the last 2-3 months and it has been a great source of support and information.

BRP delivered by DX: 02/09/14

I submitted my ilr-set(o) application on 28-apr-14 with biometrics given on 17-may-14. It has been over 3 months and still have not heard anything from HO.
Does anyone know the reason as I am not sure if the recent passport surge adds to this issue as I was told that HO could have redeployed their staff to resolve passport issues and priortize passports over visas.

I have submitted my wife's on 29/04/2014
Biomatrics was done on 24/05/2014
And waiting ........this waiting game Realy
driving me crazy cannot believe the same application can be done on a same day service in exchage of an heavy fees, so they can carry out all the checks within 2 hours if sum1 pays £1000 extra but to do the same check for an postal appliction takes 6months how pathetic is that

Navsan just to say that the link you posted is for 10 years long residence applications only (set lr). Only those applicants canpost their timeline. This group can also start their own database because it will be helpful for all members and visitors.

Waiting for the reply....Before I applied for ILR, I had booked my tickets to go back home for three weeks as I had no idea about "upto 6 months clause". My flight date is 04/10/2014 and I hardly have a month....It has been absolutely a nerve wracking time for me :/
