Driving Offence and Naturalization

Post by fqvision » Wed Sep 03, 2014 11:23 am

Driving Offence and Naturalization,
Please Help Me.
I convicted IN10 (without Insurance) and LC20 (without Licence) 16-02-2012,
I had my 10 years ILR on dated: 03-09-2013 from Birmingham (One day Service.)

My Question is can I apply for Naturalization now?

Or Wait for 16-02-2015 to complete 3 years of Convocation,

hiya Amber.

I got fine £55 (U-turn not allowed but i did)from court in July 2012. there is no point on my licence. no any kind of other conviction. I got ILR in end of march 2014 so my Naturalization is due on march-2015. My question is do i also have to wait 3 years from court decision to apply for naturalization ? plz help. thanks

hiya amber,

I met a local solicitor today and he told me that coz in my case its a minor offence, i need to check my enhanced CRB report if nothing in that report then i should be ok to apply after completing 1 year of ILR. can u plz comment on it. thanks.

Your solicitor is wrong, that may have worked for ILR but not naturalisation and its DBS not CRB and you can't apply for that.
