Wrong end date on COS, help needed

Dear all,

My company just got approval for the COS and they are just about to issue it in my name.
However, I noticed that they put the wrong end date.

The post was advertised for 12 months.

Start date is currently stated as October 20, 2014
End date is currently stated as September 19, 2014

That makes the position only valid for 11 months.

Is there anyway we can fix this at this stage? It doesn't seem like it is a field you can automatically amend. =(

Any advice is appreciated!

that makes the CoS not valid at all (negative duration of engagement). Are you sure the HO approved this? Check the printout of the CoS.

Hi Manci,

This is the email that we received:

"Thank you for your recent application for restricted CoS. Your application meets the minimum points score for the allocation of a restricted CoS. You can now assign your restricted CoS from SMS using the 'Granted applications - create and assign restricted CoS' function"

Are you sure we can not amend the information at this point?

Sorry Manci-

I made a typo,

The company entered Sept 19, 2015. Not Sep 19, 2014.

So it is currently 11 months duration instead of 12. So it is not negative duration, but a month short.

Is there any way of fixing ?

yes, the sponsor can change the work end date by adding a sponsor note to the CoS
