Hello everyone , i applied for naturalisation in April 2014 and got second stage letter May 2014 , since then i heard nothing from them its 4 months now , yesterday i contacted them and got the following reply which i think they send to everyone .
"" Hi
Your application is currently being processed with a view to establishing
whether it meets the statutory conditions for the granting of
naturalisation, such as good character and lawful residence, and will be
submitted to the Minister for decision as expeditiously as possible. It is
of utmost importance that your permission to remain status is kept up to
date at all times
It is recognised that all applicants for citizenship would wish to have a
decision on their application without delay. As well as being a
significant event in the life of the recipient, the granting of Irish
citizenship through naturalisation as provided for in law is also a major
step for the State which confers certain rights and entitlements not only
within the State but also at European Union level and it is important that
appropriate procedures are in place to preserve the integrity of the
process.

SO my question is if anyone has any idea what does it mean ? does it mean my garda vetting has been completed or its still in the process ? has anyone got approval letter after this reply , if so then a how long after getting this reply ? i never ever committed any crime including the traffic crime , also i have never been an illlegal in Ireland since i came to Ireland , i am on stamp 4 since last 6 years without even a single day gap in my visa, so really can,t understand why they are taking soo long to determine things such as good character and lawful residence about me.
Thanks in advance
