1.] Is there an NHS deduction from one's earning ? And is NHS available to HSMP migrants in lieu thereof ?

2.a.] I gather that the NHS provides basic facilities. Does it, by any chance include critical illnesses ?

2.b.] Who would cover critical illnesses, if not NHS ? What is the average premium ? Can insurance coverage be refused under any law in UK ?

No specific deductions for NHS but you do pay your NI and taxes.

Yes NHS is available to them as well. When you come to this country, get registered with a local GP. Infact you would be instructed to do so when you come here the first time.
