Wife ILR form, fees and eligibility for settled person

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have received my ILR on the March 2013 and my wife came to UK as my spouse on the January 2012.

I have three questions regarding this:

1. Do my wife qualify for the two years entry to Settlement
2. Which form I should apply with
3. How much is the fee

My research showed that my wife is eligible for two years entry and the form I should apply is FLR(M) and the fee is £601.

Is my research correct?

I'm confused. Have you posted the correct entry date for your wife and you mention a 2 year route to settlement but say that she entered in January 2012 - which would now be 2 years and almost 9 months ago! What visa does she have at present?

She was given a three years dependant visa when applied back in December 2011, so she still have visa until December 2014.
But I have received my ILR on the April 2014 but due to some family issue it become delayed for her application and now I am going to apply for it.

But confused about her visa form and english qualification requirements.

My wife has entered in UK under Tier1 dependent on the 14th January 2012.
I have received my ILR on the 26th March 2014 based on 10 years long residence.

Yes, my wife was granted visa as PBS dependent.

I have ILR on the basis of 10 years residence.

I hope you are well.

I am very confused about my wife's correct form, as different lawyers are telling different things.

My wife has entered in UK under Tier1 dependent on January 2012.
I came to UK on October 2003, therefore applied for ILR on the end of 2013.
I have received my ILR on March 2014 based on 10 years long residence.

So I have two questions:
1. Does it mean my wife has successfully passed her 2 years requirements of staying and can apply with SET(M).

2. Or I have to apply with FLR(M), if so, does it mean she will have to stay for another 5 years or it will be counted form January 2012?

Hi,

I am totally confused and do not understand the languages UKBA website speaks, really!

I came to UK on October 2003
Received Tier 1 on May 2009
Wife came to UK on January 2012 as PBS dependent
Applied for ILR on December 2013 on 10 year long residency and received ILR on March 2014

My wife's visa will expire on December 2014, so we need to apply now.

For my wife if I go through the UKBA form selector and select 'other sources' for how I got my ILR, it ends up with SET(M) but I heard my wife need to apply with FLR(M).

Please help.

The rules had changed in April. It was a pity that she didn't switch to FLR(M) in March.

Sorry vinny, I won't again.

But every time I was going to https://www.gov.uk/settle-in-the-uk/y it was taking to me to SET(M), which was making me ever confused. According to what I learnt from you, it should take me to FLR(M), but it didn't.

I am completing the FLR(M) now.

I think that it gives her many options. They changed the rules in April 2014. They now require Long residence dependants to switch under Appendix FM (i.e. 5 or 10-year routes).

If she applying in-person, then she may try her luck with other options by asking the caseworker.

This is exactly what I am planning to do.

We are filling both SET(M) and FLR(M) and try our luck, God knows only.

As you know my situation, I need a help with the FLR(M) for the Maintenance part. Do I need to complete 7A or 7B? I confused with their description once again.

Fill in SET(O) as well then. SET(M) requires Spouse visa to British/settled person or FLR(M) first.

With FLR(M), she/you need to fulfill the financial requirements, 7A, as specified in Appendix FM and Appendix FM-SE. Also A1 English Language.
